The country’s production of chicken and hogs significantly increased in the third quarter of the year, proving there is enough supply for the Christmas season.
In its “Swine and Chicken Situation Report July-September 2018,” the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) said chicken output climbed 4.31 percent to 428,770 metric tons (MT), while swine production improved 2.55 percent to 541,030 MT during the three-month period.
