Authorities in North China’s Shanxi Province are investigating the aluminum manufacturer amid a chemical liquid leak scandal, and relocating residents nearby.
The government of Jiaokou county, Shanxi Province announced on Thursday that they have arranged to help 35 families who had lived in the polluted area move out and have ordered the aluminum manufacturer under the Xinfa Group to suspend production.
