BOCAUE, Bulacan: Club owners here and some of the personnel of the town’s police station are quietly “celebrating” the arrest of their chief of police at dawn on Saturday for his alleged robbery-extortion and carnapping activities.

Operatives of the Counter Intelligence Task Force of the Philippine National Police (CITF-PNP), arrested Supt. Jowen Dela Cruz during an entrapment they conducted with the Bulacan PNP, intelligence personnel of the Police Regional Office 3 and Region 3 Highway Patrol Group.
