IT’s all systems go for the special barangay (village) and Sangguniang Kabataan (SK or Youth Council) elections that will be held today for 24 villages in Marawi City, Lanao del Sur, according to the Commission on Elections (Comelec).

Comelec spokesmam James Jimenez on Friday said around 79,000 voters are expected to cast their votes, which include residents of “ground zero” or the most affectedparts of Marawi City.
