Consortium submits offer to build national ID system

A NEWLY-FORMED consortium has submitted an unsolicited proposal for the design and development of a national ID infrastructure system.

Ayala Corp.’s AC Infrastructure Holdings, Inc., AboitizInfra Capital, Inc. and Unisys Philippines have proposed to the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) that they be granted a 17-year contract to “collect, store, maintain, manage, and authenticate identity information of individuals.”
