Alyssa Valdez bounced back strong and Creamline rebounded from a straight-set defeat to PetroGazz with a 25-21, 25-16, 25-18 victory over Pacific Town Army in the Premier Volleyball League Reinforced Conference at the Flying V Center in San Juan on Wednesday.

Valdez shook off a left ankle injury that sidelined her in their loss to the Angels in Sunday’s inaugurals of the third season of the country’s premier league, firing 12 points while imports Kuttika Kaewpin of Thailand and Aleoscar Blanco combined for 21 hits for the defending champions, who responded to assistant coach Ed Ortega.
