Gab Banal sank the game-winning triple as Go For Gold-College of St. Benilde (CSB) stunned Centro Escolar University (CEU), 84-81, forcing a do-or-die quarterfinal game in the 2019 Philippine Basketball Association Developmental League (PBA D-League) on Tuesday at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City.
Banal hit the dagger three from the top of the key with 17.5 seconds left, helping the Scratchers erase the Scorpions’ twice-to-beat advantage and force a decider for a semifinal spot.
