Exclusive Networks, the value-added services and technologies (VAST) group, recently announced an agreement with Forescout Technologies to strengthen channel growth in the Philippines. This partnership enables Exclusive Networks to offer Forescout security solutions, which completes its Internet of Things (IoT) portfolio in core markets, cybersecurity and cloud.
According to IDC, IoT spending is expected to reach $745 billion in 2019, up by 15.4 percent over the $646 billion spent in 2018. This spending is expected primarily from consumer, manufacturing, transportation and utilities sectors. Today, IP-connected devices are being implemented into enterprise networks without security protocol, exposing networks to threats such as unauthorized access to sensitive information or business disruption.
