De Lima dropped as opposition senators’ counsel in SC debates on Rome Statute

FORMER Rep. Ibarra Gutierrez 3rd replaced detained Sen. Leila de Lima as counsel for opposition senators in the case they filed before the Supreme Court challenging the validity of the Philippines' withdrawal from the Rome Statute.

Senators Franklin Drilon, Francis Pangilinan, Antonio Trillanes 4th, Paolo Benigno Aquino 4th, Risa Hontiveros, and de Lima questioned before the high tribunal the government's decision to pull out of the International Criminal Court (ICC).
