Dengue cases have gone up to a total of 167,606 from January 1 to July 27, Health Undersecretary Eric Domingo said on Friday.
This was announced by Domingo after the Department of Health (DoH) declared a national dengue epidemic on Tuesday based on an initially reported 146,062 cases from January to July 20, which was 98 percent higher than that for the same period in 2018. Of these cases, 622 deaths were recorded.
