THE Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) ordered a partial lifting of the ban on deployment of overseas Filipino workers in Libya starting on February 15 because of its improved peace and order situation over the past six months.

POEA Administrator Bernard Olalia told the Manila Times in an interview that the alert level was brought down “from 3 to 2” and a full suspension of the ban would be enforced once the alert level has been removed.
