The Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) presented new automated election concepts as it seeks to solve the transparency and over-voting issues encountered in previous polls.
Leading the demonstration, acting DICT Secretary Eliseo Rio Jr. said while the automated election system provides fast results, it had long been proven to compromise transparency.
