THE Social Security System (SSS) reported on Monday that its disbursements for overseas Filipino worker (OFW) benefits rose to P5.65 billion last year.
The state-run pension fund did not provide a comparable 2017 figure, but said in a statement that the 2018 amount benefitted more than 63,000 OFW pensioners and members.
