The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) turned over its highest annual dividend to the national government, reaching P3.5 billion for 2018.

In a statement on Tuesday, the country’s aviation authority said that while it only had a dividend payable of P958.5 million, it recorded an excess cash of P2.55 billion, which allowed the agency to remit 9 percent higher than the P3.2 billion in dividends for 2017.
