DoE exec: 21 firms looking to explore for oil

Twenty-one companies have submitted their applications to explore and develop petroleum resources in the Philippines, an Energy official said.

“Thirteen companies have applied for the pre-determined areas and eight nominated for a potential area,” Energy Undersecretary Donato Marcos told reporters recently.
