THE government should consider reviving the 34-year-old Bataan Nuclear Power Plant (BNPP) to lower electricity costs, according to the Finance department.

In a recent interview, Finance Secretary Carlos Dominguez 3rd said “we have all the safety measures” for the revival, adding that updating the instrumentation of the mothballed facility in Bataan province’s Morong town would reduce power rates.
