The Department of Budget and Management (DBM) said the dismal spending performance of the Department of Health prompted the department to cut the health budget for next year.
Only P50 million was allocated for the Health Facilities Enhancement Program (HFEP) in the 2019 budget, a mere .17 percent of the P30 billion allocation this year.
