In September 2016, Dominicans from across the globe came up with the “Salamanca Process.” This was the resolution of the international congress in Salamanca, Spain, which was held in celebration of 800th-year foundation anniversary of the Order of Preachers; it had for its theme “Dominicans in the Promotion and Defense of Human Rights: Past, Present and Future.”
