CEBU City jail and police operatives seized 19 sachets of illegal drugs, 26 improvised bladed weapons and 10 tin foils from prisoners on Friday dawn.
In an interview, Supt. Leoncio Baliguat, chief of the Investigation, Detection and Management Branch (IDMB) of the Cebu City Police Office (CCPO) said that “Oplan Galugad,” together with the “Oplan Greyhound,” of the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) was conducted at about 5:30 a.m. inside the male dormitory of the Cebu City Jail in Barangay Kalunasan.
