PRESIDENT Rodrigo Duterte on Monday linked Caloocan Bishop Pablo Virgilio David to illegal drugs as he slammed anew the Catholic Church over its "archaic" teachings.

In his speech during the groundbreaking of the Davao City Bulk Water Supply Project, Duterte said he suspected David, among the Catholic Church leaders who have been vocal about his anti-narcotics campaign, was into drugs.
