President Rodrigo Duterte has ordered the rearrest of the suspect in the brutal murder of Cebu student Christine Lee Silawan, who was found mutilated and her face skinned off in Cebu early this month.
In his speech during a campaign rally in Koronadal City, South Cotabato on Tuesday evening, Duterte said he personally called the Lapu-Lapu City prosecutor who ordered the release of the 17-year-old suspect, who was earlier reported to be the victim’s former boyfriend.
