PRESIDENT Rodrigo Duterte will not interfere in the graft conviction of Ilocos Norte Rep. Imelda Marcos and may just visit her if she would go to jail, Malacañang said on Thursday.

Speaking to reporters, Palace spokesman Salvador Panelo said the perceived closeness of the Dutertes and Marcoses would not save the former first lady from the verdict handed down by the Sandiganbayan, noting that the President would not tolerate wrongdoings even of his friends.
