MALAY, AKLAN: ENERGY Development Corp. (EDC) is investing P10 million to rehabilitate and develop one of Boracay’s wetlands, which it “adopted” in 2018 under a government program to clean up the tourism-dependent island.

Lopez-owned EDC last year inked a memorandum of agreement with the Department of Environment and Natural Resources for Wetland 2, located in Brgy. Balabag, that is being developed into the Boracay Wetland Conservation Park (BWCP).
