ENERGY Development Corp. (EDC) has clinched a contract to supply geothermal energy to snack producer Mondelez Philippines.
In a statement on Wednesday, the Lopez-led renewable energy (RE) firm said the manufacturing facility of Mondelēz International Inc.’s local unit in Sucat, Parañaque City, was now running on 100-percent RE, sourced from its 150-MW Bac-Man geothermal power plant in Sorsogon City, Sorsogon province.
