SENATORS Joseph Victor Ejercito and Paolo Benigno Aquino 4th sought the creation of the Autonomous Region of the Cordillera (ARC) to give the Cordillera people “full autonomy.”
Ejercito filed on August 8 Senate Bill 1923 establishing the ARC to replace the Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR). Aquino also filed on August 9 SB 1930 seeking the creation of the ARC.
