Forensic experts of the Public Attorney’s Office (PAO) on Tuesday presented to the media their findings that Richard Santillan was tortured before he was shot dead last December 10 in Cainta, Rizal by operatives of the Highway Patrol Group (HPG).

PAO chief Persida Acosta said the widow of Santillan, Jeanette, sought her office’s assistance to collate pieces of evidence that would contravene the HPG claim that her husband was a syndicate member.
