MEMBERS of the unbanked sector prefer to put their savings in banks if resources are made available to them, reflecting the public’s continued trust in the security provided by banking institutions, a Philippine Deposit Insurance Corp. (PDIC) survey showed.
The survey, which was conducted by Kantar Philippines early this year, covered 1,500 respondents aged 18 and above.
