Dennis Uy-led Chelsea Logistics Holdings Corp. wants to rehabilitate and operate Davao’s Sasa Port and has submitted a P16-billion unsolicited proposal to the Transportation department.

Chelsea Logistics President and CEO Chyrss Alfonsus Damuy told reporters last week that the company was still awaiting the department’s response to the proposal, which was submitted last July and also calls for the grant of a 25-year concession.
