First Gen open to talks for Malampaya output

LOPEZ-LED First Gen Corp. is open to returning to the negotiating table to buy banked gas from the Malampaya natural gas field in offshore Palawan province, a company official said.

At the sidelines of the Engaging the Leaders of Tomorrow: National Sustainability Summit for Millennials and Gen-Zs at the University of Asia and the Pacific in Pasig City on Saturday, First Gen Executive Vice President Richard Tantoco told reporters the company was “always open to talk,” echoing what First Gen Chairman Federico Lopez had said on the subject.
