From nurturing father to world peace ambassador

With the responsibility of fatherhood coming early to Marcos Mamay while still a student at the Mindanao State University-Iligan Institute of Technology (MSU-IIT) in Iligan City, the then future Maranao leader put the value of life and hard work more than anything else.

He had seen with his own eyes how his cousins from both sides fought that led to some deaths because of rido, and he avowed to bring peace in whatever way he can to his hometown Nunungan, a third class municipality in the hinterlands of Lanao del Norte.
