PRESIDENT Rodrigo Duterte's administration is committed to protecting the life, liberty and security of media workers, Malacañang said, after the Philippines continues to be ranked among countries with the worst record of unsolved murders of journalists.

In a statement, Palace spokesman Salvador Panelo said the Presidential Task Force on Media Security (PTFOMS) has made "significant accomplishments" such as investigation on cases of threats and harassment against journalists.
