THE Duterte administration is “open” to suspending the fuel excise tax to address the rising price of oil in the country, his top aide said on Sunday.
Special Assistant to the President Christopher "Bong" Go issued the clarification after he said in an interview earlier in the day that President Rodrigo Duterte signed an order suspending the second tranche of the excise tax, which will start in January 2019.
