Government and the private sector recently reiterated their call for further development of the logistics industry to make it at par with global standards and meet the demands of a rapidly growing Philippine economy.

“We have come to a juncture of a rapid growth and demand in the Philippine freight and logistics industry and the challenge of developing the industry continues, to make it at par with global developments and standards,” Civil Aeronautics Board (CAB) Executive Director Carmelo Arcilla said at the seventh edition of the Transport and Logistics forum on August 15 at the World Trade Center (WTC).
