PHILIPPINE shares fell further to the bear level in early trading on Tuesday as investor sentiment was dented by lingering inflation worries coupled with higher oil prices.

At the noon break, the Philippine Stock Exchange index (PSEi) fell 1.58 percent or 113.90 points to pause at 7,108.18. It is now down by 21.5 percent from its highest level of 9,058.62 achieved on January 29, 2018.
