HONG Kong: Tens, if not hundreds of thousands, of protesters are due to flock to the streets of Hong Kong starting Sunday over a controversial state-imposed extradition bill that would enable China to extradite fugitives from Beijing-controlled territories, primarily Hong Kong.

Residents fear the bill would leave anyone in Hong Kong susceptible to arrest by the Chinese authorities for political reasons or inadvertent business offenses.
