MEMBERS of the media may soon find themselves under “restricted access” at the House of Representatives if the draft guidelines for coverage being discussed at the committee on public information would be approved, its chairman said on Monday.

“In a way, it might restrict your access to securing vital information…it is not totally wrong to have media guidelines,” said Rep. Ben Evardone of Eastern Samar in mixed English and Filipino.
