SOME Indian companies are exploring the possibility of establishing pharmaceutical manufacturing plants in the Philippines, the top official of the local chapter of the Asean-India Business Council (AIBC) said.
In an interview at the sidelines of the India Engineering Exhibition Philippines (Indee) last week, AIBC Country Chairman Johnny Chotrani said these firms were “still talking with the DTI (Department of Trade and Industry) and looking” at the incentives they could get “because the Philippine market is a small market.”
