Infrastructure and other capital spending climbed in August, the Budget department reported, with government resources primarily used for roads and related projects and equipment purchases for the armed forces.
Data released on Tuesday put spending at P68.4 billion during the month, up 70.5 percent from the P40.1 billion recorded a year earlier.
