The Department of Agriculture (DA) has received an offer from an Italian government-funded company to finance the building of agricultural facilities worth $1 billion to boost the National food Authority’s (NFA) palay procurement.
Agriculture Secretary Emmanuel Piñol said the B2Firms Dmcc, a Dubai-based company, offered the DA a 10-year loan for the construction of post-harvest facilities, particularly grain silos, to keep bulky grain materials.
