Fewer Filipinos were without jobs this year but the number of those looking for more work increased, data released by the government showed.
Unemployment fell to 5.3 percent from 5.7 percent in 2017, the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) reported on Friday, equivalent to 2.302 million individuals compared to 2.441 million last year.
