At the rate that the International Olympic Committee (IOC) is contemplating removal of traditional sports contested at the quadrennial Olympic Games, we might yet wake up to ballroom dancing or sword swallowing being flashed on prime-time television every four years or so, unless, of course, the IOC overlords rethink their plan to axe wrestling several months ago and, just this week, boxing from the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
