Keeping the peace in provinces ‘urgent’

The peace and order problem in some provinces in the country must be addressed right away, otherwise many projects cannot be delivered and investments cannot come in, according to the National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA).

NEDA recently said it is not only urgent but “very urgent” that the insurgency problem not only in southern Mindanao but all over the country must be resolved if the country is to achieve economic growth.
