Lady Maroons shoot for breakthrough volley crown

University of the Philippines has the momentum, the crowd and – hopefully the break – as it goes for a sweep against a beleaguered Far Eastern U side for a first-ever crown in the Premier Volleyball League Collegiate Conference Season 2 at the Filoil Flying V Center in San Juan tonight.

The Lady Maroons expect a big comeback from the Lady Tams in Game Two of their best-of-three title series but with the fired-up troika of Isa Molde, Marian Buitre and Roselyn Rosier and the fans ready and raring to go again, the Diliman-based school could be heading to a dream championship.
