TierOne Communications, a member of the Singson-backed Sear consortium, is still gunning for the third telco slot as it pursues a dispute with winning bidder Mindanao Islamic Telephone Co. Inc. (Mislatel).
The so-called major telco player, a joint venture between businessman Dennis Uy’s Udenna Corp., and China Telecommunications, is in “deep trouble”, TierOne chair Jonathon Bentley-Stevens claimed.
