FAIR weather is forecast in most parts of the country as a low pressure area (LPA), which entered the Philippine Area of Responsibility on Monday, is expected to be dissolved in the next 24 to 36 hours, the state-run weather bureau said on Tuesday.

Weather specialist Ariel Rojas of the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said the LPA was spotted 970 kilometers east of Aparri, Cagayan, at 3 a.m.
