A NEW low pressure area (LPA) was spotted inside the country but has low chances of turning into a typhoon, the state-run weather bureau said on Sunday.
The LPA was spotted at 1,080 kilometers (km) east of Aparri, Cagayan but would likely dissipate in the coming days.
