A magnitude 4.2 earthquake struck a municipality in Occidental Mindoro, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said on Thursday.
The quake at 11:55 p.m. was 31 kilometers southwest of Rizal, tectonic in origin and had a depth of three kilometers, Phivolcs said.
