Consumers looking for more affordable vegetables and fruits flocked to the Bureau of Plant Industry (BPI) Compound in San Andres, Malate, Manila as the Department of Agriculture (DA) opened on Friday its DATienda “Malasakit” Food Outlet.
The Malasakit food outlet offers basic agricultural goods at prices that are 50 percent lower compared to those found in Metro Manila markets. It will be open every Friday and Saturday from 5:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
