THE City of Manila owes the Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) more than P200 million in unpaid premiums, including interest, from 2012 to 2018, a demand letter obtained by The Manila Times showed.

In the March 1, 2019 letter, the GSIS reminded the city government of an outstanding liability of P204,215,076.45, representing employee contributions that had not been remitted since Mayor Joseph “Erap” Estrada took office in 2013.
