Over 100,000 Maranao remained displaced as the government continues with its rehabilitation efforts two years after Marawi City was besieged by Islamic State (IS)-inspired terrorists, according to the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC).
Whether living with relatives or in evacuation centers and transition sites, the internally displaced persons (IDPs) of Marawi struggle for access to potable water, viable livelihood opportunities and most importantly, permanent shelters.
